Not only that, but I have said all along that getting Dooley out is far more paramount in my mind than who we hire. Everyone, well most, want Gruden and I still am 100% on board BUT if it doesnt happen, the only thing that will cause a meltdown WITH ME is if it results in Dooley being the coach another year. Even though I spent a lot of time and money at UT, and I will never be a fan of another team, it might be like the baseball strike all over again for me. I might just be done with sports all together at that point. NCAA football is the only sport I even pay attention to. I couldnt name one basketball starter, only know the coaches names because of business, and do not follow any professional sport. I turned on the TV and a baseball game was on, I thought baseball was over?
If that very unlikely thing happens, maybe we can organize a check burning outside Harts office building and write out checks like many of us do 2 or 3 times a year but instead of turning them in, burning them in effigy instead.
