No, I just enjoy supporting the program and our new coach. He’s going to need it.

I'd strongly suggest you donate and buy tickets then, rather than begging someone to give you theirs. They're going to need the extra donations at this point.

I believed in 2012
I believed this time, even more, thinking we learn from mistakes. We get rid of Currie think we have Haslam finally out of our decision/hiring process. Everything is looking good, all downhill

then here comes Phil and we get blindsided one more time...SEE YALL IN 5 YEARS

Fellow Grudenites you all know what you’ve done for me the past couple of months. I know things didn’t turn out the way we wanted, but if CPF believes Coach Pruitt will do a good job I’m hopeful he won’t disappoint us. Thank you all for the great diversion you’ve provided me in a time of deep sorrow, for the laughter and even the tears. This community has been a great one and I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve spent with you all. It’s time now to focus on my “real” life and quit staring at my phone all day. LOL God bless you all. :)

You do realize that a poll on this very forum has an over 85% approval rating on the hire, right? Social media is buzzing that we hit a home run. Numerous media pundits are proclaiming that, somehow/someway, Tennessee managed to make this right after all of the obstacles. Casual fans, smart fans, and people paid to analyze the game are excited for this hire. VolNation “insiders” and people who worship them aren’t. I think UT will be fine without a few dozen folks’ money.

Thanks for your kind words. Who knows...never say never to nuthin' right?

It won't be anytime soon. I'll watch from home and hope they do well. But I've got three years for my son to be a DIII QB. My Saturdays are spoken for in the fall. I'm happy I have that diversion and won't feel such a draw. This feels like a continuation of Butch, but dressed in Crimson.

Roll Vols Roll

Boro - please keep posting - maybe in the Neyland thread - I'd like to keep up with how your son is doing.

Hope he's mended and throwing again.

I've seen you around since 2012 Gruden threads but feel like I've really gotten to know you better over the last few months. It may sound a bit odd, but I think of you and many others as friends now.

I'm so glad preacher taught me how to post gifs! :)

This thread is officially on life support. Can’t stick around and watch it die. Gentlemen take it easy stay greasy and slide on.

If you tick off the wrong 10 people you can lose a whole lot of money. That guy acted like an ass to a guy who said he was going to watch his son start at QB for his college next fall instead of going to UT games. The said "give me your tickets". I merely point out that he needs to buy his own. Season ticket sales will be down next fall, you can book it now.

I still refuse to accept that it's not Gruden. The fat man hasn't sung yet.

Somebody in the Neyland thread said Chris Lowe teeeted "still hammering out the details" or something like that? So far no reports of an actual signed contract?

Wasn’t this the same guy who LOL’d and took shots at numerous people for weeks (both national reporters and posters on this very forum) for having the audacity to question his 100% concrete affirmation, with no wiggle room, that Gruden was absolutely, positively a lock? He’s smart, they were dumb - wash, rinse, repeat?

I may be wrong, but I think it was. And now he seems very sad, and nice or not, those same folks deserve their moment to return the favor.

If you find one post where he said Gruden was a lock, I'll be surprised. As I recall he specifically avoided ever saying that.

I’m not going to dig through archives of old posts to do other folks work. It’s pretty clear who the self-proclaimed insiders were (though so many piled on I will admit it’s hard to keep up with who all said what). They had their fun. It’s over now. As long as it’s not rabid trolling, the folks on the other side should be allowed their fun as well.

Every article on my FB, (Sec country, Saturday down south, fan buzz, etc) says we offered the job. Not a single one says he accepted and has signed. All those same sources also had articles claming Brohm, Leah, Mullen, etc had been offered.

Did 'Boro leave this thread to troll people the last few weeks?

A: No.

Did he ever say Gruden was a 100 percent lock.

A: Not that I ever saw. He specifically said many times he learned from 2012 and wasn't going to say that anything was 100 percent this time.

Don't accuse someone of something then say "well I'm not going to do the work to prove it."

This is the Gruden thread, do as Freak suggested and stay out if you're just coming here to troll posters you don't agree with, which is what a ton of people are doing.
