If he wins here I don’t care if he come from Indonesia! As a fan we’re supposed to support and not fire them without giving them a chance. If you don’t want to spend your money there anymore, fine but don’t bash the team that you supposedly LOVE.

It’s a shot in the dark I get that but at least give the man a chance.

Pruitt is not following a guy that got fired for going 10-2. Georgia was loaded when Kirby was hired and his seniors come back for this year. You will see the real Kirby next year.

Fulmer is smarter than this....there is no way he is throwing his legacy away on a crappy bammer hire like Pruitt. If so.....apathy reigns.

Most Vols fans are Grudenites to varying degrees. The difference is, there’s so much hyperbole being thrown around because this isn’t Jon Gruden that some folks need talked off the ledge.

Pruitt has as impressive resume as you’ll find for a coordinator. He was due a big time gig. And he has the pedigree at multiple stops (no one hit wonder) to give confidence that he’s not “just” a product of Nick Saban. Look at his year with FSU, look at how he transformed Georgias defense from awful to one of the highest ranked pass D’s in the nation. Look at how Saban didn’t even flinch when Smart left for Georgia and promoted him almost instantaneously. Look at his recruiting record at multiple stops (Derrick Henry and Jalen Ramsey would both run through a wall for him). He knows the SEC, has a championship pedigree, and has ties to assistant coaches that could put us with elite coordinators on both sides of the ball. Yes he’s a “Bammer”. But he’s also a winner, has had success in three major programs, and has earned this opportunity by every realistic expectation. He could fail, but so could anyone. So could Jon Gruden. Pruitt is a gamble, but so is every candidate to some degree. His biggest flaw is that he hasn’t done it as “the” guy before, but he’s definitely earned his shot.

Wow...the majority of you guys should be embarrassed on how you are acting. Crying that you didnt get what you want (Gruden). You all sound like a bunch of Hillary supporters. Gruden didnt want the job. We moved on PERIOD. Pruitt is a Bammer and you act like thats a bad thing. News flash they have been the best for 10 years now, wake up this is going to turn this program around. You hace to realize this is not the 90's Tennessee anymore, we suck. But not for too much longer. No more field goals from 4th and 1 from the 1. GBO. Rocky Top on the rise

It will take winning and winning often to open wallets at this point. The administration has put themselves on the line now. Fans aren't going to support mediocre, not enough for the renovations they want to make. That just proves that there is something rotten at UT when everything including money,facilities and a great loyal fanbase and tradition is all there and they can't find a coach. Pretty darn easy to see where the problem is.:angry:

You’re whining right now. You whined about Pruitt earlier. You chased the unicorn for so long that you can’t stomach this hire, and that’s sad. If calling me a snowflake helps you feel better about the situation then by all means.
