From what I've read, Beverly Davenport let it out yesterday that Gruden turned down the first offer, not high enough. The offer amount was raised and he accepted. Also said there should be an announcement/press conference possibly today. That's just what I've read.

TIFWIW but I'm hearing he said no and the Hangup was Currie wanting him to hire certain assistants. If true Currie is a stupid SOB and I'm done with this program. Any people in the know heard this?

Keep calm. Eyes on the prize. Plus Heather, Jimmy and the whole crap show over there know nothing I promise you. They don’t think he would do a good job, so they’re pushing their agenda that’s all. Until Gruden himself says no just keep the faith!

Thanks for your response. Like I said, it's just my opinion. With the news out about the full press, not sure we would have that information for it to go south.

You trust who you want. Jimmy only reports what he is fed. And i have heard him several times contradict himself......the same day......on different radio stations.

No denial and no news is good news. Relax and enjoy. When/If it falls through it will be out fairly quickly in my opinion. If we still sitting here with no news a week into December then even the most Zen of us will be freaking out.

Just stop it, this same crap was pulled in 2012. He clearly has no intentions of ever coaching at UT and it wouldn't matter if his entire family comprised the coaching staff
