Ok cool. I wasn’t trying to question your info, I was just curious if your source had given you any idea what it was about. Thanks for bringing the goods and keeping it positive in here!

I don't mind if people question what I'm bringing. Like I said earlier, Im not bringing a lot. One piece of information, that makes all the difference for me. I just can't extrapolate from that info to other topics that I'm interested in, like what is happening at these other mysterious meetings.

Ok, many VFL's have stated that this is different than the other times. One, in particular, says that he doesn't play around with this stuff after what happened last time around and is "very excited." I doubt this was brought on by the news that we were going to Tampa to pitch him a deal. The emotions are too high, we need to take a step back and look at what the in the last 48 hours has given us.......hope. I don’t take too much in here too seriously, and I cherry pick the information, but it’s so volatile and bipolar in here that I’m starting to feel sorry for the entire fan base. And anyone that wants to string the fan base along for attention irritates me.

Yeah..that is irritating, but in a mischievous way I also find it funny. I don't think that exchange proved anything either way about Beav though. I mean just because he sounded like a drunk 22 year old doesn't prove anything except...he likes to drink and it is really late at night soooo...😎

I've always been of the opinion Gruden loves to be loved. He loves being speculated about. Loves his name being mentioned with every big job opening...which is why he is so slow to deny rumors. The way he is with Raider fans...after he was rumored to be on his way back there. He goes and slaps high fives with the black hole crowd...does a video pumping the team up etc. etc. It might explain the Rocky Top singing today. He doesn't want the job but wants us to still like him. Just my theory.

I still would take him as our coach in a minute...just sayin'.

I have been a Raider fan for over 40 years. He has never been close to coming back. He does still love the Raider tradition.
I see no benefit for him not slowing down rumors or flat out saying no if he is not coming. With his son being at UT why in the world would he lead us on or hint with the Rocky Top comment. I took it as a hint.
I have a couple high up sources. One is booster and the other is on the political side. I have not posted what I know because others have.

Didn't Gruden say yesterday that he wanted to be respectful of the coaches? He didn't want his hiring to overshadow the game Saturday. But there's just been too much hype. The only way to keep the lid on is to slam it down hard. Ergo, "Gruden said no! It's looking like UT missed!"

Come on guys. You were told this would happen.
