I will only say one thing. I have always been skeptical of the Beaver. But, this mj character made a threat to expose the Beaver, and so far he hasn't come through.

That's what I'm saying...

Beaver sees someone threatening to expose him, decides to engage him, realizes he is FOS then tells him to do it. The dude keeps going on with this nonsense but doesn't expose him. Still hasn't.

Taking MSU from a team that lost to Maine and is located in the middle of farmland nowhere Missippi to #1 is pretty impressive. Maybe he's not our best choice but he is very very easily better than Butch

i agree, and i think most that bash Mullen is done so wrongfully. i think you can't have a conversation about mullen w/out adding the proper context to his career at MSU. and he's not as bad as some portray here, and in ohter threads.

that said, just being better than butch, even a lot better than butch, is not the bar. butch was better than Dooley. we've seen enough "incramental" improvement.

the program is in a lot better shape today than it was 5 years ago, and that foundation doesn't need to be wasted on "need somebody, anybody, better than butch".

we can do better. i don't think Gruden is going to be here. and i won't freak out if Mullen is the guy. but there are better coaches we should make every attempt to get.

From what I understood about Beav, he was an MIT grad, works/ed for a large corporation doing something of significance or meaningful intelligence, is connected or close enough to people of significance in this situation.

I don’t see that persona in the message exchange, but whatever.

I also don’t want to look like a pompous ass who passes judgment on the way people talk or the insults that they want to use. Plus I’m still a believer in the Gruden

10-4. Not sure about MIT but I am also not sure about the people that say he said no. Nobody knows what the skinny is for sure except John Currie. I guess all we can do is cross our fingers, hope and try not to get alcohol poisoning until hopefully Gruden takes the throne.

Gruden may have said No. I really don't know. I do know that plenty of people in the media have been reporting that we did make an offer. I do know that Hubbs was at the airport for a reason. Why??? I don't know but I doubt that he went only because of Jon Reed. I believe that if he did say no it would have broke shortly after the planes landing. Currie is playing a game of cat and mouse with the media. The man flew to Charlotte then to Chicago and then to Tampa. Don't go crazy with a couple of tweets. The sun will come up tomorrow and we will find out the truth SOON.
