Y'all member that time that AtlantaVol said there was a pivotal moment for the hunt of red October and the next day Bubba sneaks in here and said see y'all in 10 years for the next coaching search...I member like it was yesterday.

My fave national chain burger is probably Steak N Shake...In N Out, Whataburger, and Sonic also have tasty burgers

I'm going to watch the 2nd half in bed. If I dream about burgers, I'm going to be pissed.

Going under the assumption that....NO NEWS IS GRUDE NEWS.

Beav-no one else seems excited about your surprise, but I am. Why people don’t trust you, I don’t know. Seems to me, you’ve been pretty spot on. If you’re dropping hints about a party, then I’m picking them up. I haven’t had a good party since New Years in Vegas circa 2008. I could use a good party, man.

The reason that it is so off topic tonight is:
Everyone except local media has said the deal is done. A few have said we are waiting on him to sign however most have said it is DONE

So we are basically waiting on confirmation and an announcement date/time

So if you are looking for nuggets your best bet is to go back and read

Not being negative, just truthful

best drive in burger is bobbys dairy dip on charlotte ave nashville, gotta sit outside even in winter but worth it
funny you mention that, Wendell Smiths across the street is the best meat & 3 in town. I worked less than a half mile from Arnold's for 20 years and I'll take Wendells all day every day over Arnold's

I've been at the Knoxville location a couple times. I liked the burger. The fries not so much. It's pricey.

Cookout was mentioned. I like the value of the place, but I tend to stick with the chicken sandwiches instead of burgers there.

I like Five Guys for the fries. For the burger, I tend to over-order condiments and it becomes a sloshy mess. In-and-Out has comparable fries. The burger there is different from what we're used to because it's a California vibe where the lettuce is prominent and such. I love that place, though, simply because it's a required stop if I go to Vegas.

I should also talk about Tommy's in LA. I was tipped to go there by a friend from LA, and he said to get the chili cheeseburger. I did. When I tell you something is nasty, believe me, that burger was nasty. Got a cool Dodgers cup out of it, though.

Haven't been there since '87, and I've never been there sober, but Tommy's double cheeseburger with chili and jalapeños would set your stomach right for the next morning.

I remember the grocery store used to be Earl's (was Alfred's before that). I don't think I remember a burger joint named Earl's.

You're right. The burger place was in a metal building, if you can call it a building. They had regular size burgers and 8" burgers. No room for tables just 10 or so seats at the bar. I'll have to ask around, now.
