You know....the people who come on here just to say in the Gruden thread that he isn't coming and we're idiots probably go around telling kids there is no Santa Claus...

And they're wrong on both!

It's great to have hope that maybe my kids will grow up knowing the Vols that I grew up knowing and that we can turn this thing around!

Give me Gruden or give me death!!!....or some other coach I preferably don't have to Google. Death is a little extreme.

Why? He'd make more for UT than that. Check out what Saban's financal impact on Bama has been.

Transplants have a hard time with the Eastern NC style (Kansas has their own style they are snobs about - just like everyone else is a snob about their style). There is a guy from Florida that started a few restaurants in the Raleigh area just because he didn't like the Eastern NC BBQ.

Wilson has one that I've tried - Parker's - really liked it. There aren't many good ones in the Raleigh area, have to go further east for the better choices.

That said - I like pretty much any style - Lexington NC BBQ, Memphis - are really good too. Have to admit - I lived in Texas for a couple of years, love the Texas BBQ even though it is beef instead of pork (blasphemy for many in NC)

So, a friend's 91 year old mother passed away peacefully in her sleep and I was at the funeral tonight off Rutledge Pike. Like everyone else on VN I was monitoring all the latest when I felt a slap across the back of my head. Apparently my wife felt it was more important for me to listen to the minister that to check out the latest beaver had to say. While I respectfully disagreed I felt for the sake of family relations and the possibility of another beaver sighting, I put the Android away until we got back to the truck. Now I am working hard to catch up.

Not that I have any inside information but what what CJG did today on the Seattle radio station completely sold me and I am positive.

Seriously? If we got Gruden, he’s a hero and we’re going to dominate college football. Recruiting will be crazy and he’ll be better at scheme than almost everyone in college football.
