Sometimes silence is magnitudes louder than words.
The fact that you have heard nothing from the big three (Atlanta, Bubba, & Beaver) means that everything is still on track. If this deal had fallen apart then one of the first things they would have done is come here to end all of the speculation. They were all here in 2012 and don't want to see that happen to us again. Their silence means far more than anything they could say right now. Plus I was told today by the same person who had me leak the Tampa meeting yesterday morning that the deal is done.
I think Blackburn's comments this week were also telling. Why would he go there?
Now you have the first (that I'm aware of) credentialed Knoxville media member going on record (Ramey) that Tennessee brass met with Gruden last night.
At this point, the Gruden stuff should be losing steam if there's nothing to it, but it's clear it's rapidly gaining more traction.
