Maybe, the AD can’t keep the lid on it much longer without giving us something either way. It’s at the point where anyone else will be a disappointment

I would imagine the base of that story is decently true. I can believe he’s got a mom that works at the school and doesn’t care about football lolol. But I can see he probably embellished a little bit to fluff it up for the radio. And to my mind, over on the academic side of things, they probably do not see “what the big deal is” and probably wonder stuff like: “why is everything so secretive? That’s dumb. Sports people are idiots” haha. So maybe that’s where some genuine leaks could happen. Real life is stranger than fiction sometimes.

I’d say it’s around 40% true.

That can be certainly true. But I kinda like a coach with a big ego....as long as it’s coupled with know-how anyways.

He’s the best for a few reasons

He’s gives life to the program again
Changes the idea that the admins don’t care for football
Can develop talent esp QBs
Would have absolutely no fear of Saban

Anyone notice how quickly the negative information coming out on gruden not accepting disappeared🤔 I honestly think it was put out to calm the storm down, if it was legit we would be talking about this all night and it would be lurking through the forum

Well we just went through 5 yrs of not winning with an egotistical head coach. I dont mind trying the winning part out for a while.

No kidding. People are freaking out about Currie's inability to make a decision and how Gruden just needs to go ahead and accept, yet it hasn't even been a week since Butch was let go. Everyone needs to chill... I really think we all will be extremely happy with the hires.

Everyone needs to be prepared that no announcement "officially" will be coming in the next two days. There is no way they would announce the day before or the day of a game. Technically we can still be bowl eligible. I just pray we don't lose to Vandy and have the first 8 loss season in UT history!

Mostly over one Jimmy Hyams tweet about it not happening. I'm not completely conveniencd he's not still on the 2012 coaching search.

I have been at work all night and the cheeseburger talk pissed me off more than probably anything I've read on this board. Trolls usually post few times and GTFO but the cheeseburger talks lasted at least 9 pages.
