Tennessee should rent out their fanbase to other schools when they have a coaching search. NO ONE does coaching searches like Tennessee.

No In-n-Out, but we've got Cook Out... Those are really good too.

I'm guessing either nobody has bought the franchise or someone bought it and doesn't want to open yet. We did have Whataburger here a long time ago. I remember going to one near where Grassmere Zoo is now located on Nolensville Road in the 70s. There is a building near the HWY 70/100 split that has been a florist and was a Varallos Chili Parlor before that but it sure looks like an old A-frame Whataburger. I've also read that there was one in East Nashville once upon a time.

thanks for confirming , somebody told me about a whataburger in west Nashville back in the 70's but I thought they were full of crap.Cool story here.... my businesses original location was across the street From varallos @ 8th and church until 1985.We were @ 8th and division from 85-2015 and now we are at 8th and chestnut. Varallos also had a 3 way chili, I guess they still do , although they have been gone from Church street a long time too

Not sure, I’ve been to the one in Chattanooga and noticed they opened one there. Closer to you for the Mrs since she used to like Bojangles. Much better IMO

I've heard good things about In-n-out and smashburger, but alas, no chance to try them yet. I will stick with Five guys for my go to burger tho in these parts. Not a fan of Jack. Last couple of times I have eaten there I got sick. I mean bad sick...

Sorry to hear about JIB - I have mostly had it in Texas, probably closer to their home base.

A big fan of Five Guys - have heard they are in financial difficulty though. Perhaps if they stopped filling the bag with fries and charge a bit more reasonable price, they might survive

True for the fanbase in the best sense.

Unfortunately, this has also been true for UTAD in the worst sense.

Hopefully UTAD will match the energy/intensity of the fans this time around.
