Looks like he has been the very fortunate successor to a couple of good teams already built by someone else. When he did build a good team, it looks a lot like he went out with his bosses checkbook and bought it by finding the best free agents available and paying them whatever it took to come on over.
That's not recruiting great kids all while operating within NCAA rules...that's hiring mercenaries in a league with VERY few restrictions (relative to NCAA recruiting rules).
Just my opinion, and worth what you paid for it.

I appreciate all the info you bring. Sorry if it has already been mentioned. Have early morning practice and haven't had time to go through 50 pages. Have you heard a time frame for announcement? Thanks in advance.

The people I've heard from would not have info on timing. All I have on that is my own observation and opinions.

I gotta be honest here...these former players tweeting their excitement seems fishy. Laron Harris finds out? Seriously? He left after two years but somehow he is privy to the information of us hiring Gruden? All this cloak and dagger and subterfuge by Currie but Laron Harris and John Briscoe find out? Doesn't pass the smell test.
