We’ll have to wait and see but I think there is plenty reason to be skeptical. But again, that is my nature when it comes to these things. I work in sciences so I’m not someone that believes things until I have proof and verification.

My husband. The opposite. He believes the entire world is run by a handful of people pulling the strings in every nation hell bent on destroying western civilization.

So yeah, I’m skeptical of conspiracies.

Ya'll need to get up off Atlanta Vol. Hes the VERY LAST person on here that should be called a troll. I would go as far to say that anything he says is the truth or what he believes to be the truth as told to him. Hes done to much for people on here.


Any mentions of trolls should be void of AVs name IMO.

You have no clue what you are talking about. I am sure Gruden (and every other coach interviewing for the job) has their plan on how to succeed. Absolutely. It involves recruiting better and coaching better than everyone else. Earth shattering concept, I know. But when was the last time assistant coaches stayed anywhere? Look at Saban. All of his assistants went on to be HCs elsewhere. We have no idea what the staff is going to look like in 2-3 years. It is why almost every AD worth his salt continually updates a list of viable candidates if something should happen to the current HC. What 10 year plan of coaching succession can we have when we don't know how the next coach is going to be? Weird that when we hired Butch that we did not have his successor in place.

I understand but there are no conspiracies there are a lot of facts that have come out that point to what has been said but you have to read and research.

There is new leadership from top to bottom. From the chancellor to the AD. I’d suspect you are much younger than me. But I just turned 40. Used to live check to check and my family was even on government assistance for a few years. But by the favor and grace of God and some work ethic, my wife and I built a business that’s paid is 7 figures the past 9 years. And you know what changed? How I planned life. I began to plan things out and implement a life strategy. We have 4 kids and have plans for each one that is 5-10 years down the road. I say that to say this: we are precisely were we are as a football team and a university because we didn’t have the leadership to see beyond a few years. That’s why I’m all in. I believe Currie, Fulmer, Peyton and many others realize that TN is at a crossroads and if they don’t put a plan in place, not a person, we may never regain our dominance. They aren’t planning the coach for the next 20 years. They are laying out the expectations of the coach. Recreating what TN football is all about. That way no Dooley or Butch Jones will ever step foot in Neyland again unless it’s to take a beat down.

It is brutal I know. In my case, the person was told that "we got all of it we could, not all". It was in the right frontal lobe. Now, there is nothing there but some necrosis. She "should" have died 16 or 17 years ago, but she lives today.

I can say this, she was at NIH on a (at the time) very experimental protocol. She was only 26 at the time of diagnosis, and very fit, making her a good candidate for really aggressive treatment.

Hang in there, prayers for you both. I know how hard it is on the partners as well. People overlook that, even the person themselves overlooks their own well being while taking care of their loved one.

Obviously there are choices only you two can make, but I fully believe in doing research protocols. Much of the standard treatment protocols have fairly well known results, and they are not so good. If she is willing to go through it, I would look into it.

God bless, take time to take care of yourself as well.

Also I know a bunch of dudes that are members of The Farm, including my sons Father in Law. Some do talk like that..

I tend to disagree with this. I know the UT system lays out goals on a 5, 10 and 20-year basis. I have been involved in helping UTC with our 5-year plan that was put into place a couple of years ago.

Not sure why having a long term plan is so foreign to some. It is a pretty basic concept.

Maybe he didn't hem and haw. It's been rumored that he had been told after the Georgia game.

Tbh, I think he was given a set of goals to meet after the curb stomping and when he didn't meet them, Butch took his ball and went home.

Buy that's just my opiniin. I won't speak it as fact like you are. Truth is very few know.

And when I was in sales we had to set yearly, 5 and 10 year goals for ourselves and plan it out. Why would you think a man managing a multi million dollar athletic department wouldn't set ling term goals? That's what doesn't make sense to me.

And to dismiss it isn't? The AD runs just like many major corporations. Do some research and see if they don't set ling term goals and plans. It's pretty much SOP for a large entity that wants to grow to do so.
