You can't make up your own mind what to believe but you KNOW there are no ling term plans for the program?

I wouldn't expect anything official to come out till Sunday unless Jon has declined the offer. Butch Jones has till friday to "check out" of the University. No way Jon or the AD makes an announcement within the next 12-16 hours if it is indeed happening. would be extremely unprofessional to announce something while Butch Jones is still cleaning out his office so to speak. JMO

I did, I'm sorry. I thought the whole discussion on "caddies" and the Honors Course and Ivan were hilarious. It was clearly written by someone who has never been to a Golf and Country Club before. I mean, seriously. Laughable how out of touch it was.

I already don't listen to him, so nothing changes for me. I don't for a second believe the AD tells him anything other than misinformation they want put out there.

There is absolutely, 100%, no 10year, 20 year, or 30 year plan. No way. No one anywhere has any clue whats going to happen 5 years from now. All Currie is trying to do is make sure this next hire succeeds. He does not care one bit about a succession plan, at all.

I was told that no matter what happened today the AD wanted to give the current staff the LSU game with zero distractions. They've frankly been through hell, and in many ways the LSU game is their interview to the football world. If they can put together a good gameplan and field a team that clearly looks motivated, most of them should land on their feet. With the amount of chatter we're seeing, I can't imagine it won't get leaked/announced before this weekend.

Agreed, it's going to escape from the internet soon and make its way to the casuals... That will start happening tommorow morning. By midday it's known.

Funny part is the restaurant is called Columbia but it's actually a Cuban restaurant. Very expensive too to be Cuban food. I've been to the one in Clearwater Beach a couple of time. I go to Ybor City only in the daytime to pick up cigars when in Tampa but I don't suggest Ybor City at night. It gets pretty ghetto at night with fights and drunks coming out of the clubs and bars. Plus not a good area close by if you know what I mean.

Bring back memories... I worked ems down there around 94-95. Nebraska, Hillsborough, and MLK Blvd at night are fun times.
