3 others that still claim to be insiders (and incredibly, people still believe them) got busted trolling earlier in the Grude threads with a fake “text conversation” that was screenshotted and exposed.

You would think they would have thrown in the towel. But they are still here, still claiming “inside info”

It seems that being too busy at work to keep up during the day at least has the benefit of missing the troll session.

I agree. I stay 50 pages behind at work. It's like a really good Netflix show you binge watch. Can't wait to get to the end but get pissed because you got to wait for the next season 😀

Take a huge fan base. Fire a beloved legend that had fallen out of favor. Give them 2 crap hires in a row who mostly brought misery and mediocrity. All the while their biggest rival hires the best coach in football and dominates the decade.

I understand the state of our fan base. If you've ever had a dental crown and when they blow the air on your nub and you almost pass out from the pain....our fan base is that nerve ending in the nub.

Just a thought. All of this might be the new way of doing things. If you want to control the message, who do you control it to? Those who care. And social media is now a big part of how you deliver it.

Also, when I hear about 10 and 20 year plans, I think of business school nerds, and I'm not talking about Finance undergraduate majors). I also mean no disrespect because I have two "nerd" degrees.

This whole thing is starting to smack of a well thought out and orchestrated plan. A plan that Mike Hamilton and Dave Hart would have never grasped.

So, I am starting to buy the whole Ergen/New Wave narrative. The signs sure point that way.

I can agree to that, but this forum is a very minute portion of social media. There are much larger stages out there to get their message across, Facebook, twitter, and the other large vol football forums.

Why just post here? We are the period at the end of this sentence compared to the audience they could have.

This forum was targeted for a reason. And it wasn't to disclose business dealings.

Maybe since this is a free site and has a broader spectrum of the fan base they thought this would be a good place to plant a few seeds to germinate and spread.

I'm not into conspiracy theories but there was a purpose behind it.

Someone brought up the fact that Blackburn quit and didn't take another job and has been silent up until now. That does seem odd.

If there is a 20 or 30 year plan then we have no idea when it was implemented. It could have started months or even years ago.

But by who? Ergen? The Andersons? A coalition of boosters tired of one family (Haslams) calling the shots and leveraging a power shift?

Who knows, it's above my paygrade. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I just try to apply common sense to what I read and there are some glaring questions that will never be answered.

That's not the point. The point is, what Exile insinuated was Blackburn was in the know, and that this opportunity would be presented before the end of the 2017 season. My reservations with that idea - Jones having a miracle come his way.

If that occurred, then did Blackburn quit UTC for nothing? He'd have no trouble finding another job, but a lot of faith went into this, regardless of how inevitable it was.

Most agree that Fulmer has been very active behind the scenes in trying to 1) reform the way our football program is run, and 2) get Gruden.

Blackburn resigned at UTC on June 14, 2017. Fulmer was appointed special advisor for athletics on June 20, 2017.

Fulmer stated at time of hire that he had NO animosity for John Currie, and would work well with him. Blackburn said the exact same thing in today's article.

There’s no conspiracy to plan out the next 20 years of UT football, no plan for the past 6 months. That’s BS.

Maybe Gruden is coming, maybe not. I believe he’s interested but I’m not convinced anyone on this board knows anything legit now. Too many smoke, mirrors and strange hints to be real.
