Potential trolls or not - the national narrative is starting to take form that this could actually happen. In three days, Hargis and Wallace have made some of the biggest naysayers question what they believe regarding Gruden. News travels fast, and journalists are desperate to break stories. Now that it’s on the public radar as more than far fetched lunacy, the truth should start to reveal itself.

This has always been the most interesting part of the social experiment. I've talked to my wife (psych major) about it several times. We've dubbed it the "Trump effect" (not to be political in the least...hear me out).

People ask all the time how Trump gets away with tweets that seem absurd. It's fairly simple. It's always on to the next tweet. There is SO MUCH information out there that nothing lasts for long. So the vast majority forgets what is said so quickly in social media.

And I will put myself in that category. Until the fake text was mentioned again, I had completely forgot about it and couldn't tell you who was involved still. Just TOO MUCH info since then.

But, through all of the noise, I do still believe that it is significantly likely that Gruden is coming to the hill. I could give a rat's *** who is a troll and who is an insider when all this plays out.

Good point... and that leads me to a question for which someone might have an answer. Larry Scott as offensive coordinator could be the reason we didn't have a better season. Was Jones FORCED to hire an OC from within the program, or did he decide to do it on his own. The implications of that answer are interesting.

Had Jones won 9 or 10, I think he would have some suitors to jump to. He wanted out last year. I think regardless of how this season played out, he was gone one way or the other.

Man I have looked for more of these all over. In fact, searched a couple weeks ago and not even a picture of them. Thought I might get lucky and see some on ebay or at garage sales. She gave me a Nat'l Championship mug that is almost white. Time for Vols to won another so I can get a new one! SOON!

Just stick with Atlanta VOL, just_a_vol from TOS, LWS, a few others and you’re golden. I trust Beaver for some reason too and I honestly don’t know why.

3 others that still claim to be insiders (and incredibly, people still believe them) got busted trolling earlier in the Grude threads with a fake “text conversation” that was screenshotted and exposed.

You would think they would have thrown in the towel. But they are still here, still claiming “inside info”

Beginning to? First of all, it's VolNation. Second of all, we've been through this before. Fool me once...

This year or next, it was coming.

That's not the point. The point is, what Exile insinuated was Blackburn was in the know, and that this opportunity would be presented before the end of the 2017 season. My reservations with that idea - Jones having a miracle come his way.

If that occurred, then did Blackburn quit UTC for nothing? He'd have no trouble finding another job, but a lot of faith went into this, regardless of how inevitable it was.
