The board “insiders” have said its a done deal. Timing of announcement TBD

Hargis and Wallace have said on record UT is absolutely going for it, and it has a legitimate chance to happen.

Vols (real ones) have implied they know something big/good is happening on Twitter.

There’s no reason, no matter ones skepticism, to be negative after today.

Yes - if several days go by and we hear nothing (or bad news) everyone has every right to start being bummed.

And I will say this - if this whole thing isn’t a real possibility and everyone is massively misinformed, Currie should have nipped this in the bud a few days ago. And, if negotiations are taking place but ultimately fail, he needs to nip it in the bud ASAP. He can’t be tone deaf to a forum this big, or social media as a whole, collectively losing their mind for the last two months over Jon Gruden. If it can’t/won’t happen - he needs to kill it.

The fact that he hasn’t, as of yet, is also good news. So just sit back, relax (I know that’s impossible) and wait until something concrete happens.

Pretty much. Then a handful of insinuations were thrown out, they an idea that former VFLs were trolling on purpose and it all went to hell. Lol.

Without taking sides, I will just say that AV vouched for Beaver's identity.

Plenty of folks have been conned by people they know. Think Bernie Madoff, etc.

I have no doubt whatsoever about AtlantaVol.

I remain neutral on Beaver/ Bubba/ The New One What's-His-Name.

At some point, I kinda gave up, so I don't really have any sort of take on OrangePill.

But I've seen enough from other posts to stay on the Gruden train.

Peace out, y'all. Try to remember what makes the Gruden threads special, and don't lose that vibe with the flood of new converts and trolls. :peace:

I went to several Falcons games in 2006 and probably 30% of the #7 jerseys said "Mexico" across the top of them. Shortly thereafter, NFL.com/shop shut that function down. LOL!!!

They need to wrap this up and make an announcement soon. I haven't been able to get any work done since XXV and lost my kids somewhere around XXVII. I should probably go look for them.
