On a side notes I always appreciated what ya bring now and what ya brought then.

If it were just "them" I would not waste valuable time checking this thread when I have time throughout the day. There is enough smoke to be something to this in spite of those that speak in parables and speak troll.

I would just be cautious is all I am saying. Hargis and other people in the actual media know we have a shot at landing him this time around.

Maybe this is a way for you to build ecred by calling other people out without naming names? Just name them if their trolls.

Ran into Jimmy going into his remote today. I told him “it’s time to jump on the Grude train”. He started the “we went thru this in 2012 and it’s going to end up the same this time. Don’t believe this garbage. He doesn’t like recruiting, compliance blah blah blah....”. I responded, “its 2017 and a totally different time and circumstance with ESPN, NFL, and MNF,”. He had to go but he said, I’ll bet you $100. Can’t wait to call in and ask him to donate that to the Salvation Army!!!

No matter how this winds up, I’ve been able to put some things in perspective. I grew up with Orange blood. Not an alumni, but born into the Orange and taught by my dad. He was always a huge Tennessee fan, and his love for the Orange rubbed off on me. Like most, we didn’t always get along but we’ve always had TN football to bring us together. Some of my greatest memories in my life are intertwined with watching the Vols play. Turning down the TV and listening to John Ward count TD yards down one by one until by the time he got us in the end zone we were lining up for the kick. These last several years have been hard, sure, but I’ve just begun to realize how much I took the really good years for granted. Dad is getting up in years, but it looks like the powers that be are at worst willing to go “all out” for a HFC and staff that can get us back to where we belong and at best maybe even pull in what might be considered one of the boldest moves ever in our coaching history. For that I’m thankful, and I fully believe that, Good Lord willing, dad and I will once again be able to enjoy TN football again....and maybe even in a way we never have before. But this time, no taking it for granted. Thanks to all who’ve played a role in making this happen, and thanks to the VolNation family for making this thread so fun. Go Vols!

MY Dad and I shared those same great Tennessee memories together. It is another reason why Tennessee football means so much to us all. My Dad is gone now but you still have more memories to share with yours.So cherish the days you have left together and hopefully more great Tennessee memories to share.
