I just want to say this,If we get him and we find out Coach Fulmer played a big role, he should go down in history as one of the greatest men in vol football history. He is already the 2nd best coach.Should be statues.

So as we speak, right now, this very minute, there are about 25 men and women gathered in a very nice home in Tampa. The host is wining and dining them with heavy hors d'oeuvres, fine beverages, and warm, friendly conversation.

They are a new team. They know that in coming days, months and years, they will work amazingly long hours together, sweating, swearing, caring and supporting one another and 120 or so young men in orange and white. Winning. Dominating. Breaking records.

Tonight, right now, as we share camaraderie on VN.com, they share the same, at the dawn of what is going to be an amazing story.

Isn't it cool that it's all happening as we speak?

Go Tennessee Volunteers!

Read this with “Explosions in the Sky” playing in my head..

I’ve successfully exploded my pants

So is it done yet? I'm an old fart and I don't have any more coaching searches left in me. I was there for Majors when the angels sang and he came marching home again.
I need one more hallelujah in my lifetime and Gruden needs to be it!

Wanna really feel old? I was 4 when Majors came home :)

No matter how this winds up, I’ve been able to put some things in perspective. I grew up with Orange blood. Not an alumni, but born into the Orange and taught by my dad. He was always a huge Tennessee fan, and his love for the Orange rubbed off on me. Like most, we didn’t always get along but we’ve always had TN football to bring us together. Some of my greatest memories in my life are intertwined with watching the Vols play. Turning down the TV and listening to John Ward count TD yards down one by one until by the time he got us in the end zone we were lining up for the kick. These last several years have been hard, sure, but I’ve just begun to realize how much I took the really good years for granted. Dad is getting up in years, but it looks like the powers that be are at worst willing to go “all out” for a HFC and staff that can get us back to where we belong and at best maybe even pull in what might be considered one of the boldest moves ever in our coaching history. For that I’m thankful, and I fully believe that, Good Lord willing, dad and I will once again be able to enjoy TN football again....and maybe even in a way we never have before. But this time, no taking it for granted. Thanks to all who’ve played a role in making this happen, and thanks to the VolNation family for making this thread so fun. Go Vols!

The power and "horse" are the only reasons the purported meeting is occurring. But as we know, our first inclination is not always correct with Beaver. More times than not, his posts, locations, pics, etc. make sense hours or days after the fact.

You wear a tux to a formal celebration, like a wedding. My interpretation is that the bride said yes, and it is time for the reception.
