said details on the staff need worked out, mainly because Gruden wants all i's dotted and t's crossed so that he has the support necessary...gruden knows he's going to need a great staff to navigate the college landscape...feels having the staff as he wants it will give him the best chance to succeed. even stuff like compliance....

Hargis went on to say that they were hesitant at the TFP to go with this story, but getting blackburn to agree to be a source, along with some long time sources agreeing to continue to be anonymous sources, they felt ok in bring to light, what they know to be true, up to this point.

said he's anxious to speak to sources tonight to find out what, if any progress was made today, felt today was a big day....


it all seemed genuine. and while nothing was announced or really confirmed, it was kind of surreal to listen to a journalist speak about this as a "real story" vs. just addressing it as rumors.

Very interesting and thanks for posting. So Blackburn is back in play? Wow. It seems like Gruden is approaching this in a very calculating manner. Making sure everything is right for him. Good move. Especially on the staff hiring. It is absolutely imperative that he gets a great staff.
