I was expecting an update last night from Hargis (family friend) after he followed up with his sources and those sources say they can not tell him or any media any more updates from here on out. After his appearance on Finebaum yesterday and grumors trending on twitter there were several unhappy folks. You won’t see David Blackburn say anything either if he wants a position
within the AD.

On a side note, I ran into a buddy that I’m close with at EMJ (higher up project manager). His boss Jay Jolley (he is a mid level booster) who is also the president of the company has told him that we are going to close the deal on gruden this week (he was told that Monday) and expected an announcement before Vandy. This is now twice I’ve heard that this week from extremely reliable people.

Believe me or not makes no difference to me but I have a friend who is a top 10 booster. He says that Gruden was given a deal either last night or this morning. He said he has until Monday to make the decision. That is all I know and I don't know the specifics of the contract. But I know that he has been offered and he has until Monday to sign it.

If what Gruden said in his interview were true he is leaving for Seattle on Saturday. So, assuming he is out there until the Tuesday after MNF it leaves only tomorrow to have a press conference or sometime next week. Which I see unlikely with the holidays...

Meanwhile John Wilkerson was just on WNML with West and Ward and said that Mike Norvell was looking like the top candidate for the job. How are they this bad?
