It happened when bcarter posted that we have some trolls among us who are seen as trusted insiders. He said they were trying to get him to back their info in 2012 and he refused, blocked them. But he wouldn't say who he was referencing- so now we are all skeptical of any good info. Kind of ruined the night even if he didn't intend to.

I know two guys in the media department and they don't know anything. I'm not saying you are a flat out liar, but unless your source is the department manager - those guys aren't told anything until its time to setup.

Very logical conclusion - but here’s what I know...

- Boosters talk
- Boosters have influence
- UT administration, including UTAD, has been as susceptible to influence/control by big money as any university
- In the age of social media, it’s hard to keep anything secret for long
- UTAD does not have control of everyone in the know (including & in particular the candidates & everyone close to them)

So, yes trolls are real. But leaks are too.

here is the way I see it, orangepill who dropped huge info the other night said he heard from his BOT guy/girl that the deal was done yesterday.........good enough for me. Now it just a waiting game.

I get that but not one shred of real evidence

When it does not happen these so called insiders will say it was about to happen and then It changed.

If it's Gruden, part of me wants to get a twitter account just to tell Dodd, Forde, Thamel, Schablach, etc. to eat ****.

And to be clear, my issue isn't with those who are simply skeptical that Gruden would take the Tennessee job. That's reasonable. My issue is with those who act like Tennessee is some **** job and we should just hire Mike Norvell and be happy to make it to bowl games.

funny you mention how people talk, my wifes good friend husband is a top attorney in town. He tells his wife stuff, she tells my wife and then my wife tells me. If I was a dishonest person I could make a good living blackmailing folks around here.

I think if this Gruden Thread was put on WATE in Knoxville Live this Saturday night, there would be more people tuning in to it vs watching the Vols get whupped by the LSU Tigers on ESPN, provided of course CJG has not already been announced as our O&W Savior and Lord
