PLEASE don't read this and run with it like AV is saying we'll hear something tomorrow. Just saying it's pivotal. We'll probably never know why.

Don't set yourself up for disappointment tomorrow.

I am assuming he is meaning that some certain event happening tomorrow will determine whether this deal gets done or not?

Tomorrow will prove to be a pivotal day in the hunt for red October

AV has spoken...I've been waiting since 2012 like any loyal Grudenite and am totally confused at the barrage of info/misinformation being bounced around so I don't know what is actually coming tomorrow but I have a Grudeon just because AV says so....BAAAAAMMM!!!

Fleck

Is this the same guy that claimed to have worked for Gruden, but had a tweet from not too far back about having enjoyed meeting Gruden and others for the first time at some banquet?

That article from swain basically says boosters want gruden but Currie and staff doesn't and are going after others. If they don't go after him I hope it gets leaked they didnt

I would have to think that Currie is working on vetting the plan B, C, D, etc candidates if Gruden doesn't work out.

Don't tell us what not to over react to. Jk

Yep that's him. He's also been going on a block-spree against UT fans calling him out tonight.

I don't disagree with this. However, it should be noted that contracts are only useful when both (1) sh*t hits the fan and (2) the value lost exceeds the likely fee exposure.

Contracts are truly only useful when things go south.

However, $2,000 in contracts could save untold dollars on the back end. In my insurance defense work, if my clients had proper contracts, it could save hundreds of thousands in most cases.

This. I've got clients that used to go cheap on contracts. Now they won't get near one without having me review it.

It sounds like Gruden will make his decision tomorrow. Hopefully UT has done absolutely everything in its power to make this happen, given him everything he has asked for and basically told him we want you to be our coach. What's it going to take for you to sign?

Makes sense. I just can’t get over the difference in how far along this is according to everything we know. If Beav and his associates are right, boosters like Ergen have been involved for awhile. In my mind you don’t get this far without having Gruden on lock unless you are doing business with UT but it doesn’t have anything to do with the football coach.

Then there’s news articles saying Grude said no or that he’s not calling people. There’s hurdles, roadblocks according to posters. Radio differing wildly. Something isn’t right.

If you add the pros and cons of each, there’s more pros than cons.

I think the holdups are last minute ironing out of details and has to do with timing. That’s what I’m going with. Yup. I think. Maybe. I don’t know.

I think Gruden wants his coachs set before the hire so the Ad cant screw him out of the people he wants. That's the Go No Go.
