If FL hires Chip Kelly they're basicly hiring a mercenary. As soon as something on the west coast opens up he's gone. He'll be FL's Kiffin.

If you can't see the difference in Les Miles and Butch Jones....stop watching football. The ONLY comparison in the two of those men is that they're both currently unemployed.

I watch plenty of football, and the only difference I see is that Les Miles has a better record and a natty. It is well documented that Les Miles lost his job because of his stubbornness and refusal to give control to coordinators, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. His clock management at times was laughable. A lot of his traits are just like Butch, but with more success.

Was told earlier today that Gruden is in, wrapped up his staff yesterday and will be in Knoxville tomorrow. Source is very close to Fulmer and Haynesworth.

If FL does land Kelly, most teams will be behind them for the foreseeable future. With his offense he won't have to leave the state to recruit. We would need a Gruden/Patterson/Urban type hire to keep pace (no pun intended).

He did less with more as years passed. Taking Les at this point would be the equivalent of bringing back Phil.

Season ended last Saturday. Finished 5-5. He'll be fully recovered by the first of December.

The good news is he went from not dressing his first game, to special teams and scout team QB, to the starter, all in his freshman year. Can't wait for spring practice to get here.

That’s moving the goal posts, isn’t it. The question was how is Miles different than Butch.

The only difference is, miles won a natty a decade ago.. they both had trouble with offense, both got fired, both are currently unemployed..
