I'm thinking we may be misunderstanding or twisting Martinez' comments from Currie a little bit. Currie contrasted days to hours. Translation: it's not gonna be immediate, but I'm working to make it happen as soon as possible.

Would've been very different had he said days, as compared to weeks. In that case, he would be communicating what we are wanting.

I think this is a case of us hearing what we want to hear and not what was actually communicated. We all have to be patient. It's going to happen. But don't expect it to happen tomorrow just because MNF is done for the week.

IMHO - Gruden within a week. Nothing more than a gut feeling based on what sense I can make from the cumulative total of 33 Gruden threads worth of information. I'm just enjoying the ride.

So the question, is Gruden the byproduct or the prize? If any of this is true.

I can't believe Gruden is a pawn in this. I don't doubt the complexity of big business , but isn't this a stretch?

I called Peyton to MNF to replace Gruden a month ago...I still think it would make sense for all.

Not sure why everyone is impressed at insider status if it's being based off his calling of the fire date.

A broken clock is right twice a day... and he really wasn't going out on a limb with the Sunday after a game prediction. We always fire coaches the sunday after, so jsut Pick a sunday after game you think we were going to lose and you stood a pretty good chance of getting it right.

Has he brought other, proven information ? Tuesday on the other hand... i think he's legit.

This time around it has been tight lipped other than some Boosters with loose lips and assumptions BUT in the last 48 hours things have come to light that make me think it is more possible now than ever.

I believe these things to be true:

Gruden is the first choice and is considering an "offer"
Gruden is reaching out to potential staff
Gruden is buying a house here for sure either way
Mainstream media starting to give the narrative validity
People I know who laughted and scoffed at the idea just a few weeks ago now are saying things like "50-50" and "Likely".

I REFUSE to get sucked in like I did in 2012. I do not believe it is done but I am better than 50-50 that Gruden will have to turn down a MUCH better offer than he almost took in 2012 with a much better situation.

I am almost there in believing but have been burned BAD in the past so again, when John introduces Jon I will celebrate. Until then I will just hope.....

Ole' Dewey is forgotten for one other important thing too. He helped implement the first so called west coast offense at BYU in the early 70's.
