Hey Gruden Family:

Just got home from a tortuous all day mediation. Complete cluster**ck, but we got the deal done and settled.

Bad news is that I have no idea whats going on. I'm going to start the process of catching up, but if anyone has a cliff notes version of what to look for, I'd appreciate it.

Sean McDonough is awful, my 1st Monday night game in a long time and it will be my last. Just wanted to catch Gruden firsthand........

back in '86 didn't they have a rule about "coaches" dating cheerleaders? Or was that politically correct back then.....

There was (is?) a fraternization rule forbidding dating between enlisted and officers during my time in the AF. Numerous such married couples tho. Do the math. :)

hey, volfannbama, i have never felt like this before, but i do, so i'm gonna man up here.

i'm gonna take you off the list and apologize.
y'all were arguing, and i don't do well with that kinda stuff, but that was no reason to publicly put you on the list.

i don't know if you even cared or not when i did it, but that doesn't matter.

i feel bad about 30 minutes later or whatever it's been, so i took you off ignore and i apologize.

:hi:

Good man right here.

i'll say this, if there wasn't anything to it, and he is NOT interested in this job...at all....it'd be really easy for Gruden to just say so and that be that.

so if for no other reason, i'll stick to my 40% chance just due to his silence.

Sorry to bust in on your conversation, but I couldn’t help but talk Ducks with y’all. I grew up in the Camden Bottoms and KY Lake...I mostly hunt Arkansas and the Platte River now, and I work for RNT.

Ill take any full scrolls you got laying around...

Gruden named coach later this week and ends contract with ESPN.

Peyton takes over on MNF until either he is named fulltime or someone else comes on.

Thoughts?

Soon!

Very cool. I used to blow RNT but I have been running a JJ Lares for 3 years.

Gotcha. I’m a field producer for RNT and have been a part of shooting their videos and RNT-V for 15 years now.

What town do you reside? I’m originally from Camden...but live in Colorado now.

Beav is 100% troll regardless. Seems like a 16 yr old trolling. Too much time on his hands. Not an MIT educated adult. Jmo. Grown arse adults that have info act like larry or jav. Not an attention seeker that creates twitter SOLELY for VN people. He is just feeding the fires.

Still 100% grude though. Just 0% Beav.

Millennials adults aren't the same as previous generations. He can still be educated. Just his wit and clever post not understood by older generations.

Yep totally agree. I think he loves UT to much to string us along. He is seriously interested otherwise he would publicly say thanks but no thanks!

Dish is on a tight timeline to get their spectrum (quantity) of wireless service to the market. The quickest way is on someone else's equipment, then build your own 5g service on your own time or not at all.

If you can partner with someone who has brand familiarity in the wireless world it is easier to sell your service (tv package). ATT/Directv sell TV/internet together but this would be a cell service streaming tv package. This isn't traditional home internet we're talking about..if it is then i completely misunderstand it.

Again, obtaining ESPN and the rights to stream it when you hold the ability to market it is amazing. If the only way to stream ESPN is to say be a T mobile customer (who would be partnered with Ergen) that would probably generate huge revenue.

ESPN needing to reduce costs to make the sale is what Concep alluded to.

So the question, is Gruden the byproduct or the prize? If any of this is true.

Gruden's salary in your scenario would be pennies to thousands of dollars. Not even worth mentioning. Plus, didn't AT&T & Directv recently offer something in this arena with a phone promotion? Could be wrong but something caught my eye as the lines were getting blurred between mobile devices and TV.

Used to live in the Arkansas Delta...killed my best deer along the L'Anguille River bottoms...

Northwest Tennessee is good. Don't hunt personally but my brother in law hunts. Here's also bagged a few nice deer in Hendersonville.
