Is no one worried the game might of passed Gruden up . We see it a lot these days where old school Pro style offenses cant score . Is Gruden gonna run the same offenses we ran in 90s and would it work in today's game ?

Are you people that gullible? Really? You are getting trolled hard and slow. Evwn ridiculously #FakeGrumors turn some you fools inside out, and sharks smell the blood.

Hey El Grande..Just between old original Gruden NS brothers..Do you really believe he's coming this time? I just can't do it till I see that mug walk up to the podium.

I'm at 50/50, but I think the ball is in Gruden's court.

If, as we are being led to believe, money isn't an issue, the same mistakes aren't being repeated (control of team, assistant money, etc) the choice will simply come down to "do I really want this?" for Gruden.

And only he can make that choice. And we won't know until it's announced and shows at the podium.

Makes one wonder (because I don’t know) if released by ESPN at the end of the year, do they owe him a settlement? (Remaining contract)

Basically nothing, it's not guaranteed. Maybe some pro-rated to end of fiscal year bucks or something small like that.

I think UT should give him a lot of free reign. It seemed to work out well for Alabama.

Why wouldn't you? It would only make sense to me.

eta: I just went ck and read my own post, and I'm talking like UT already hired him. :eek:lol:

I refuse to believe ESPN is going to give Gruden a raise when they're repeatedly making budget cuts, and you couple that with the reports of MNF's future being in jeopardy. Not even in the least bit is this believable.

That's because they usually stay in the NFL, which is where I expect Gruden will be if he ends us back in coaching again.

He's wanting to tutor former players,(Vols), to be good coaches. I look for J.Witten to join his staff in a couple of years. I really hope he can lure K.Steele away from Auburn and back to UT where he played and coached under Majors about the same time Gruden was here.

Jon will be good for the young men attending UT and will surround himself with assistants who can develop talent.

Is anyone worried the game might of past Jon Gruden by . Is he still gonna run a Pro style 1990s offense with the speed of today's players ?

I hear you. I think Gruden decides to be too big a puss to accept the challege like Saban did. He is just all talk now I'm afraid.

But man I sure do wish he would man up. We need a monster unifying hire, or we will never be relevant again I fear.

I certainly can't say for sure. However he watches and studies the game constantly. He should be very capable of getting back in the swing of things. Also Gruden is a very smart football coach.....he has a great QB mind, and is a great speaker (of football).

I also think Gruden is smart enough to use what schemes would work best for the situation/players.

Hey Beaver, are you getting Daniela to strip for Volnation during Grudens intro presser? Is that the surprise? Enquiring minds would like to know.
