This conference is a show. It's the formal announcement for the media, nothing more nothing less. Currie might not sound like a poker champ, but I think he's a shrewd character and the no search committee announcement, IMHO is huge. He has his man. I hope it's who we all think it is.

I don't get why him not giving a straight answer is upsetting so many people. Did you all really expect him to come out and give us a name or names? This is a standard post-firing presser.

Seriously, people need to calm down. He was never going to confirm or deny anything that could affect negotiations with potential coaches. Deflecting and being vague are just how these things go. People were fooling themselves if they thought they would learn anything from this.
