There are a lot of people who generally cannot afford to take a family to a game in Knoxville, particularly not an SEC game. If someone gifts them tickets, they will go and cheer and make the most of it. I'm not rain on their parade by saying that anyone who shows up is a bad fan. JMO.

I shook my head over that stuff from day 1. That made me a nega-Vol.
Stupid sayings don't win football games. Yes, every team/coach has them but that's all Butch has. He can't back it up.
I've often said he does a lot of "look over here, and not over there" to try to take the attention off of reality...see back to back 9 win seasons for the 1st time in ______ years.
I have no idea about where DTOs source is. Want to be clear I'm not specifically raining on his info. I just have my own perspective on how I'm interpreting everything I hear.
I've wondered what these 18 to 22 year old players think when he does that. Are they like "man did you hear what coach said" or "damn I wish he wouldn't embarrass us like that"
