I said back at the hotel, not at the room. We parked and tailgated with friends at Hampton Inn, at halftime we walked back to the hotel. From there we left and went back to St. Louis, where we were staying the night. It’s like a witch hunt in here sometimes.

I've asked this question before to others, but when does Currie finally grow a pair and tell them this is what's happening and I'm the boss so get over it or get out.

Sadly I think he has no intentions of firing Jones anytime soon or at all

But not buying it. When someone says, "Just got back to the hotel," they're talking about the one they're staying at. It's "back to" because they were there the night before, or when they checked in. And it's "the hotel," rather than "the tailgate," because their mind sub-consciously assigns a role to the location (where I sleep, versus where I socialize).

People use phrases that give information even without thinking about it. He said:

That's not how you'd say it if you left the game and were now back at the tailgate party.

But appreciate you letting me know about his efforts at damage control. I'll keep an eye open for them.

Slightly OT, but Canales needs to spend one complete practice working on having McBride slide after a run. He looks to me like he could compete in open competition with the other two QBs, but he's not going to last long taking hits like he did last night.

IF Gruden was onboard (as some would have us believe) there would be zero reason to keep him after last nights record loss.

The only reason I could see to keep him past today is if we are talking with a coach who is presently coaching and we are buying time until he finishes his year out

No, it’s “back to” because we were there for 4 hours before the game. I️ bet some people in here believe 9/11 was a conspiracy too.

I go back to my belief that at best, most of the "inside" information posted here is 3rd hand with maybe a couple of exceptions. I appreciate the tidbits, but believe as you do that most of this is speculative. Very rarely do you see something definitive posted, and usually when done so it doesn't happen.

In fairness, you brought the witch hunt on yourself. You admittedly “teased info” which smacks of trolling. You also stated Gruden would be announced in a couple weeks and then 18 minutes later said he seemed likely, but not certain, yada yada. I’m not saying you don’t have info...but the way you present it has troll like qualities. No offense intended, just might want to think about how you present yourself and info in the future.

Tough but dumb to take those hits especially like the helmet to helmet one that caused him to get up really wobbly.

Sorry we are all just on edge this morning as our football program burns to the ground. What changed from last night when you thought Butch was definately gone today after people in AD working all day?
