I don't understand why you all are hating on Butch Jones so much. He literally brought this program back from the dead. Makes me wonder how much the search process has to be documented, by law. And whether a FOIA request would reveal the details of what Currie does in this process between today and the day he announces Gruden I mean, whoever the new coach is.

Might be fascinating.

Likely not discoverable without a big fight - with attorney's involved it would all be classified as privileged or attorney work product.

I really like this thought. Last time was awful with all the leaks and rejections, CBJ seemed like choice 4 and UT looked silly with every rejection. Turns out Stong wouldn’t have been the answer either.

We'll never know if Strong would have been the answer or not, but I surely think he would have done better here than at Texas. Certainly would have been interesting to see a defensive-minded coach at UT for a change.
