Gotta give McBride some cred for taking off & running.

I wonder though if that's because he's not reading down from his first option and panicking. It takes some experience as a QB in the SEC not to do that and, bless his heart, he just doesn't have the time in. Not his fault as a true freshman.

With this O-line, the first read is all he has time for. Kudos to him for recognizing that and getting what he can get with his feet rather than standing there like a statue.

Tee was a WR Coach for several years between UK and USC. He is now OC at USC. He needs a little seasoning with the right coach and opportunity. Given he did what Peyton couldn’t, I have faith in him to handle the job. With the information that the Grude is trying to get him, that just reinforces it for me.

Yeah, he wouldn't be my first choice, but Gruden and any head coach, imo, should have the right to choose their own staff.
