He was obviously in play. It let rumors go for a while much longer than last time. And then in interviews said that it just wasn't the right time. You don't say that unless u we're at least interested and looked into the job.

Please don't mistake what i'm about to say as backing pedaling to have an easy out if he doesn't come; but, I will say that as of right now, it looks like this is a done deal. However, anyone with any business sense knows that a deal can fall through at any point up until you have drying ink.

my source, who is also the one who's fed Tony his info last night, says that per conversation with a BOT member and a top tier booster the deal is done. Note I was told it was done, not that a contract has been signed. At this point i'm 100% confident in this going down because I have 100% confidence in my source, his connections, and him actually wanting this to happen, which would deter him from making this up.

Now like I said, its not a done deal until the deal is done, but at this point, the Vols stand to make a SPLASH hire.
