yea i thought the penalty was for field goal and to protect the lineman, more of a pre snap thing like you mentioned. That play just irked me.

can i say something? How in the he$% is it a 15 yard penalty to jump over someone during a play in football? These basketball guys jump over eachother for dunks all the time on hardwood floors. But its a penalty to do it in pads on grass? IDIOTS!

Don't open that can of worms, we may never see a dunk in basketball again if that rule is put in place for BB.
