“Uh oh. Uhhhhh-ohhhh. 2 of the big players told an unnamed source right now.. tonight at the B.B. game - an unnamed elected official that the deal with JG was done on Wednesday night... if I told you who that was from people would die right now. I’m not making that up”

Riddle me this, Vol fans and Grudenites:

On a potential (hopeful) CJG staff, how could you - a) keep Gillespie and b) bring back Jay Graham? I'm not sure either has ever coached anything other than RB's

I did see pap Haslam almost get taken out tonight by a flying bball. Damn floor seats will sneak up on ya.

Would love to see Graham back. Took me a year to figure out why he left in the first place...yeah that's my bad.

Nice. The very first thing I bought my future daughter was a UT tervis sippy cup and she has plenty of orange in the closet. She's gonna be a UT fan whether she likes it or not. :)

Basilio is so negative about the Haslams right now I find it difficult to believe one of the kids would text him. What other elected official of significance would be attending the game? One of Duncan's kids? Someone who would know Basilio's personal phone number.

I like Basilio and I like his show but I don't know what his end game is here. I know he wants TN to be great again but he also needs callers. I also really don't get the Haslam backlash, pretty sure they are with the rest of us in this thread. Except they are footing the bill...

Maybe they are now, but his take is they are the reason we got Dooley, Hart, Jones, and Currie

That may be true. My ties don't go that deep. I do know they wanted Currie, that's as much as i know. However Peyton was in on Currie as well.
