Thanks bud! It was truly a shock because i didn’t know this guy from Adam and he was obviously a well off individual from his stories and pictures he was sharing. It really just adds to this whole story that people across the country find out info and this guy would have no reason to tell me about anything i was just some guy tagging along for lunch at a business meeting.

Couldn’t even finish my lunch from that point as i had sort of a nervous excited anxiety come over me lol.

Actually, you wasted precious minutes of your life posting something that wasn’t funny, didn’t offer any insight and was generally boring. You should read more or create a Pinterest page. Cool little tidbit of conversation I was involved in today, not an insider by any means and don’t “know people” . Just for a little background I work for my father in laws large scale graphics and printing company here in south florida, we have done work for all the major universities in the state as well as the Marlins, panthers etc..

Anyways I was invited to lunch with him and a business associate who went to and is well connected with UCLA athletic program. As The convo shifted to non business he was showing pictures to us on the sideline from the crazy A&M game they had this season , after listening to him talk and “puff his chest” for the majority of lunch i figure this guy was legit guy wit some info.

My father in law mentioned to him I was a diehard Vol fan and with no hesitation his response was “man o man I’m jealous of you guys” I said why’s that and He said “ I just spoke with my buddy in the AD last week about the plans if we move past Mora and they told him Kelly was the main target but Gruden was off the table because he was taking the Tennessee job at the end of the season” .

Needless to say I was pretty shocked for the rest of the lunch and have been lurking in the thread from it’s inception. The guy could just be blowing smoke but thought it would be some cool info to pass along with the rest of the smoke going on around here , a classic volnation “cool story bro moment” Go Vols!
