Cool little tidbit of conversation I was involved in today, not an insider by any means and don’t “know people” . Just for a little background I work for my father in laws large scale graphics and printing company here in south florida, we have done work for all the major universities in the state as well as the Marlins, panthers etc..

Anyways I was invited to lunch with him and a business associate who went to and is well connected with UCLA athletic program. As The convo shifted to non business he was showing pictures to us on the sideline from the crazy A&M game they had this season , after listening to him talk and “puff his chest” for the majority of lunch i figure this guy was legit guy wit some info.

My father in law mentioned to him I was a diehard Vol fan and with no hesitation his response was “man o man I’m jealous of you guys” I said why’s that and He said “ I just spoke with my buddy in the AD last week about the plans if we move past Mora and they told him Kelly was the main target but Gruden was off the table because he was taking the Tennessee job at the end of the season” .

Needless to say I was pretty shocked for the rest of the lunch and have been lurking in the thread from it’s inception. The guy could just be blowing smoke but thought it would be some cool info to pass along with the rest of the smoke going on around here , a classic volnation “cool story bro moment” Go Vols!

A. I sincerely hope the seltzer/soda in Beav's picture gets nowhere close to that Pappy because that's sacrilege. Have not had the privilege of having Pappy, but have had its little brother that tries to live up to it, Weller 12, and it makes my eyes cross every time, it's so good. Even paid $20 for a single pour in Louisville last year for it. (FWIW, Weller Special Reserve is not even in the ballpark).

B. My husband got home from playing tennis tonight about an hour ago and we live south of the (drum roll) Cedar Bluff exit, and he told me, hey, I saw four MNF haulers... I interrupted him and asked, at the Holiday Inn? He replied, yes! Did you see them too? Um, yeah, on the message board. He just shook his head and went downstairs to Smokey's Palace (our name for the man cave). He is so broken by the state of our football program, it hurts me to see it.

Another case of mistaken identity, I only have brothers. I have received a lot of PM’s with people thinking they know who I am and so far all have been wrong. I really hope that others stop trying to dox me, keeping my anonymity is important to the work I am trying to do for Tennessee.
