As a side note, Beaver - if you're watching....

When this is all over - jet set your way to the west coast - I've got a few bottles we can drink while you tell some stories. I've got a Macallan 18 and a fresh A'bunadh wasting time on my liquor shelf.

It's not Pappy, but it drinks.

I got Jack Daniels, Coors Light and Dr. Pepper. Beav, I think the choice is obvious.

So, the Pappy bottle is pretty interesting.

I thought for a second that this may have been a google image for the bottle. Went through every google image for a few keywords, and could find no match - I believe that is a legitimate photo taken by the Beav.

As a lover of whiskies, I can tell you that is not ordinary bottle of hooch. All the Pappy's are pricey. The 15 typically retails for around 1300-1600, depending on where you buy it.

Now, not that being wealthy authenticates any information, but it certainly adds context to the Beav's position in the world. What strikes me is that the bottle is sitting right next to what looks like a box of Barilla pasta. Who just sips on that stuff while they whip up some pasta and Prego?

I didn't see the pasta. I saw a pack of seltzer. There also appears to be a glass of beer in the background. He either has company or he's drinking it all up.

So, I don't know that it means anything but just FYI. And SIAP.

Back in Gruden VIII there was a poster named GmanTN who had a pappy van winkle avi. And another poster (247Vol365) commented on his avi being pappy van winkle and his great taste in whiskey.

Thought somewhat noteworthy that he's drinking a whiskey that has already been mentioned in the Gruden threads at least once.

We all need to get out more.

We're currently dissecting old threads to find another reference to a whiskey.

And deciphering whether or not there's a box of Barilla pasta in a photo from Twitter.

Alright, as funny as this has been enough is enough.
OGs, ask yourselves who is the one guy that was so prominent in the '12 threads who has not been present in these?

Take a moment to think about it.

I would think that a Scotch snob like the Beav would turn his nose up at any mention of Bourbon, even Pappy’s. But, who knows?

I saw his tweet. He must be bored. He doesn’t even mention the White Whale anymore.

It's not Pappy, but it drinks.

Will be out on the West Coast in a couple weeks for about a Month. North or South California?

Last time I drove down to the company store, it was $6.99 a pound. About the same as regular Bacon.
At my local store, Butler and Bailey, it's $12.99/pound. Crazy.
Considered the best bacon on God's Earth.

It's so different from other bacon. And driving up 411 is one of my favorite things to do.

This probably belongs in the off topic thread but y'all feel like family considering the unhealthy amount of time I "spend" with y'all so I'm starting here and if mods need to move or delete I understand.

I am trying to find work in Chattanooga area and am having ZERO luck. As much as I'd like to think my charm and marketability bleed off a sheet of watermarked paper, the reality is (in most cases) is that it's all about who you know.
Granted, none of you really know me, but if anyone knows of an opening in the Sports Management field, or any field at this point, and would be willing to entertain a look at my credentials it would really help a vol brethern out.
I would rather not give too much info in the open forum for obvious reasons, but I have a M.S. degree and 10+ yrs experience in the Sports Industry/administration.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you promise not to stalk me, I can make a couple phone calls to see if I can help. Add me on Twitter and then send me a DM for contact exchange.
