I don't know how many more games like this I can take!!! This team doesn't always do everything perfectly, as we all know or the coaches don't always call the right plays but somehow they have that special SOMETHING that enables them to reach down to the bottom of the barrel and pull something out of nowhere!! I am AMAZED at their perserverance and fortitude that keeps them from giving up. We have played teams that seem to make good half time adjustments as Vanderbilt and KY did and they come back to haunt us. Both those teams played well enough to win but someone sprinkled some magic dust on our team and all we can do is enjoy the moment....it may never happen just this way again which makes it even more precious. KY played with heart and determination but I SALUTE MY VOLUNTEERS and I hope that inner strength that they have shown carries them thru their lives! GOD BLESS THEM!

Nation, I went out to Damon's to watch the 4th quarter, and dont you know, they didn't even have it on. I had left my house watching it on T.V. I was beside myself, I couldn't believe it. I literally watched the bottom of the screen over and over and when I saw that KY tied it with like 0.1 seconds I was like wtf I cant even watch OT. I was a nervous wreck, I couldn't tell you what my girlfriends were talking about, I was glued to the bottom of the screen, when I finally saw the final score, I let out this big scream, said GO VOLS ATLANTA HERE WE COME and my friends were laughing at me. I cannot imagine what you guys were going through watching that game. It feels great to be a TENNESSEE VOL.

The Vols had me on the edge of my seat from the 4th quarter on! In the second OT, after the INT, I said to myself: "our season is over!" What a reprieve! WOW! The Cat's come within a hair of not sending the game into OT. One more second of Woodson delaying the throw and the game would have been over. It's been an exciting year and the Vols have pulled out some close wins!
After looking at the schedule back late summer, I figured either a 9-3 or 10-2 regular season. It could have easily been 6-6 or 7-5.
Are the Vols still a team of destiny? One more win (I hope-it'll be tough) and we'll see.
GO VOLS BEAT THE TIGERS!

I dont know how we did it.. I am glad we did though.
I hope I am not the only one getting sick and tired of us going into the half with a big lead only to play like crap in the 2nd.

Good thing is this was probably KYs best chance to beat us. woodson is gone after this year KY will be back to being KY. see ya in another 22 years guys.

Agreed.

I'm very excited about the team that is coming back next year. I think we have a legitimate chance at the National Championship. I think our schedule is more favorable next year, with UF and Bama at home. We have to play Auburn away, but Auburn has shown themselves to be very dangerous on the road, so it's almost good to play them on their own turf. Not really scared of SC next year, but Georgia will be a tough game I think.

Ok I'm rambling. Go Vols.

Dad even told me 2 be careful and as soon as he kicked it and i realized it was blocked I stood up 4 the remainder of the game. Officially cannot believe it happen. I was amazed.

our defense was toast in the 4th, but now that i've had some time to think about it, you can't blame the D completely for the breakdown...

the D *did* come up with a big interception with 4 minutes left... if the offense does it's job, then we stay on the field, maybe score again, but we win in regulation... dropped passes were NOT good for the defense at all.

I still think chavis is worthless, but i gotta tip my hat for the team sticking in there and getting it done.
