Official Hawks Thread

Look out . . . the Hawks have closed to within 39. I've never seen a team with as much talent as the Hawks look so completely lost.

I did the same... just checked the score on ESPN.com and did a quadruple take.

I was a long way from the TV and was literally squinting to make sure I was reading the score right. When I tuned in it was a 43 point game with 7 minutes to go.

Holy shnikes!? I just happened to turn it on and it took me a minute to do the math and figure out the differential. The Hawks have to get sold and then hire a coach who's not in over his head and for God's sake go sign an actual center.

Horford is the best player they have. Maybe better suited at PF, but he's still better at center than any other Hawk at their position. Joe Johnson was a terrible investment.

The Hawks are completely schizo. Lose to teams they shouldn't and now on the verge of beating Orlando and Boston back to back.

It happens. At least they have a winning record.

Pacers have beaten the Celtics and Heat a couple of times. I think they handed the Bulls their only loss in the central division. Then they follow it up by losing 8 in a row.

And at least the Hawks have the talent to potentially make a run in the playoffs. Maybe they'll pull a VCU.

They'll take the Magic to about Game 6 and then disappear with a whimper.

Good back and forth game tonight. Glad my Spurs were able to get the W though. Good luck to all you Hawks fans in the playoffs.

Hawks better get together. Playoffs are about to start and they've been struggling.

11-15 in their last 26 games and have lost 3 in a row. Looks like Granger, Collison and Hibbert had their way tonight.

If you watch the Hawks with any sort of expectations, it's your fault. Time to blow up the core of the team and start over

Was at the game last night. You can add McRoberts, Dunlevy, and Foster to that list. Hawks have even less chemistry/toughness than last season. I blame Joe. I hate the Spirit Group. Being a Hawks fan is the most frustrating endeavor in sports.

I was barely paying attention when it happened. who was at fault?

Zaza fouled Howard, JRich got in his face and Zaza head butted him a couple times, JRich pushed Zaza in the face. Zaza started it, but if Jrich does nothing he is playing tomorrow.

To answer you question, Zaza.

Zaza also threw an extracurricular arm into howards rib cage and tried flopping. Zaza has been getting an ear full from magic player about his European flopping nonsense and j rich finally had enough. I don't blame Jason for doing what he did. Flopping ruins the integrity of the game and If I had it my way itd be a reviewable offense and can issue a tech or large fine. They do it in soccer and that same culture does it in the NBA.

Both deserved to be suspended but this hurts Atl a lot more. One less center=6 less fouls= more double teaming Howard= more open 3s. Jason was also a zombie out there on the offensive end this series so perhaps this will spark him.

The Hawks lost a backup Center, and they have 3 more on the bench. Orlando lost a starter and their second leading scorer, yet you think it hurts Atlanta more?

Orlando now has to start JJ Redick ( who is coming off an injury), or Gilbert Arenas who has been a bust since joining the Magic.

I think it's clear this hurts Orlando far worse than it hurts the Hawks. But, we shall see soon enough.

Oh, and Howard got what he deserved for intentionally throwing his arm into Zaza's face.

Dude is as dirty as they come at the Center position.
