I worked towards that last night... I a 17 skill, then had a mediocre game of King of the Hill and went back down to 16 before I quit. :no:

As you get further up in skill it seems you are more and more at the mercy of lag in your connection, and whether you are the host or not will play big roles in if you win out on a beatdown, or if it says someone else timed it better.

I ran into 3 groups of standbyers tonight on the ranked team board. What a pain. Takes all the fun out of the game.

Yeah. They use a firewall to force the system to make one of them the host, then block connections from the players on the other team, allowing them to just run around killing everyone else.

me and my team won a tourney to get first in line at gamestop:rock: I kinda still like H2 better. anyway I can't wait to go to MLG for H3

I had a terrible time tonight. I was just a second slower almost the whole time while playing. I stepped it up the last couple of games though. Anyone else ever get that problem?

My problem is I'm not consistent enough...played most of the day yesterday and I started off with 25 kills..then dropped to 6 then back up to around 20 then back to around 10..roller coaster ride...:ermm:

I played Halo with volfan895 last night. I came up behind him and knocked him out and when he woke up all he saw was one of my great threads.:)

That's called standbying get used to it....it's been done in H1, H2, and now H3....they do it to get their level up. I don't care about levels b/c me and my team are going and winning tournaments. No one needs a number next to their name

Halo 3 is fun but the balence of COD2,3 multi is way way better. Say I am peppering a guy running at me for a full 1.5 sec before he shoots me , I will die first even if we have the same gun. Halo 3 NO PRONE that sucks. Cover is used like it was paintball.

So use the BR instead? :)

By far my fav halo weapon now... used to be the pistol from Halo 1.
