Official GTA IV Thread

I wouldn't say it was a piece of trash, it was a fun game, but I agree it might have been the most over-hyped game in a long time. IGN gave it the first 10/10 rating they had given out in years. The game while having better graphics than San Andreas, was a shadow of what San Andreas was. The missions were far too easy, and their were too few of them.

It's still in my top 5 of xbox 360 games. The in-depth detail that went into this game amazes me still.

i was actually thinking about picking up a used copy of this today just so i could go back and play online again. i found free roam mode to be hilarious.

Yeah, I hated getting those stupid calls from Roman and the crew.

The worst was that annyoing Brucie guy that you raced cars for. There were some pretty funny things you could do on the dates though. I remember once I took one of the girls(the first one I think) to the strip club not too far from her house, walked through the front door and started lobbing grenades onstage. She started yelling something like "Niko, this date is over, you're not the guy I thought you were, I'll find my own way home." On a side note, dang that strip club is tough to shoot your way out of once all the bouncers get pissed and the cops show up.

I did the same thing. She started walking out and I shot her. haha

I beat it wasted off my ass, apparently. It was a blackout period, too... I didn't know that I had beten it until later the next day.
