Official GTA IV Thread

I think I can officially say that GTA IV is on of the most overrated games of all-time. The hype didn't match the game and I became bored with it after playing it for no more than 3 hours. Guess Gamestop is gonna get a mint copy.

yeah I traded mine in on GRID..and I only made it a couple hrs:)

The game is fun if you play with people online. It's always different online. Free Mode is the best, IMO.

i thought gta iv was a great game.:ermm:

I still bust it out every other day to get chased by cops and blow stuff up. I thought the story line was very fun, just not all that crap you have to do.

I haven't played in forever. I've been busy with Gears.
I'm gonna have to start again sometime. The last time I played I failed a mission a couple times & got frustrated & haven't been on since.

I needs mine achievements!

Most are pretty simple achievement to get. The hard ones are pigeons, stunt jumps, and 100%.

Agreed, I got bored pretty quick but I plan on beating it sometime. MGS4 on the other hand, I beat in about 4 days and I plan on playing through again soon.

i've never seen what the big deal is about the metal gears solid games. i played the twin snakes(which everyone said was awesome) and was really dissapointed. the cheesy dialogue didn't make it any better. i'll stick to splinter cell for my stealth based games.

yeah, yeah, flame me i know.

I won't flame, I understand how someone can not like them. For me, its my favorite series out there.

I completely agree with you as well.

I beat Metal Gear Solid: Substance on original Xbox & didn't care too much for it. Naked Raiden scarred me for life.

I'm a bigger Splinter Cell fan.

GTA has been tough for me to get into. It's kind of slow at first, I hope it picks up.

I just beat it finally.

I had a lot of fun with it & intend on playing through again since I rushed through the first time to beat it in under 30 hours & missed a bunch of stuff.

When the game first come out I got pretty far into the game but I got stuck on one mission that I could not get past. Well today I put GTA IV in and I get past it on my first try. Go figure...
