If nothing is announced this week I wonder what the recruits are told on Saturday? With all the uncertainty coming out via the media it just seems like they would have to be told something to give them confidence about coming here.

If they are told Gruden, how many commit on the spot?

I do not know the leaks at this time, all I know is that I've been told that leaks would start most likely within next 48 hours last night, some have started today already. More are coming but I have not been told what the exact leaks are.

does anyone know the origin of the harbaugh noise? if that rumor is true, then, ironically, it lends credence to gruden being a done deal because there is absolutely no way harbaugh has any interest and the rumor of his interest would strictly be a favor among (primarily nfl) agents

So he is one of about 5 people that are in on the search... interesting. Either he is part of the "telling media to downplay Gruden or he doesn't understand the concept of being lied to. Did it not occur to him that if Gruden (or fill in the blank coach for that matter) is to be kept secret that they will not answer him truthfully when asked about particular coach or any other details on search?

Not any more specific tonight vs last night. I'm not asking for the news, just what you mean by this. For example, Do you expect ESPN to put out a piece tomorrow that says the deal has been done (eg sources say Gruden to Tennessee is happening)?
