Agreed! Such a lost art....there are a few Apaches around with the shark face, which I appreciate as well. One of the gifts I gave my husband when we married was having his visor on his helmet painted with a pinup/nose art girl with an old school, slightly inappropriate name like all the cool old bombers. He kept that visor and displays it prominently with his memorabilia.

The worst mistake the military ever made was to remove fixed wing close air support from the Army’s control (in my view). The 9th AF did great things in WW2 and went largely unappreciated. Those guys in Apaches are great but the A-10 and similar should really be flown by grunts. Both the A-10 and AH-64 look great with teeth.

My grandfather got hit with schrapnel pretty badly the day before the Battle of the Bulge. Woke up in a hospital after and they had lost almost everyone in their unit. Worst case of survivor’s guilt I’ve ever seen. They were the greatest generation for a reason.

I knew about the boosters telling members that Gruden was a done deal. What I was saying was about the others to come, I do not know what those exact leaks are.

Because they can come from anywhere and unless you sit at the computer 24/7 you will miss them. But imo they have started.

Just that Will West said that booster were telling memebers that the Gruden deal was done. West then followed that up with he didn't believe it but it's what he was told and the timing of the announcement didn't make sense (SEC championship week/end)

I️ love all the 2012 join date posters in here with no where near 5 years worth of posts], it’s like they were conceived during the old Gruden threads and came to life with this one. Myself included.

After 2012 I was shot....especially when Hart came to Knoxville with Butch. I have had a difficult time posting. I only hope this doesn't turn into Groundhog Day!
