Yes, and the only reason I remember that is because my dad grew up with Joey Jones and at that point he didn’t know Joey was leaving SA. Don’t remember who brought the info.

My hunches have always been a Tuesday. Either tomorrow or next. Only because it’s right after a MNF. they wouldn’t announce on a Saturday or Sunday that Gruden was done at ESPN.

IMO the fans and the national media are ready to explode. The media for clicks therefore they don't care if he coaches here or not. The fans want to know, NOW. So there are leaks to slow down all sides so that the deal and timing can be worked out.
