Im hearing the biggest hurdle between UT and Gruden is the endorsements. Seems he may choose boobs and wings over the Vols.

Lol, that flight never made it to Starkville. It is now in Smyrna and headed back to Knoxville then to Tuscaloosa lol. Atlanta Vol told people not to pay attention to these flights.

As a long time lurker of the message board, I certainly hope Tennessee makes the right decision here. I would certainly love to see Gruden coach this football team. It would generate a great deal of positive excitement around this program, sometime we could desperately use more of around here.

If he does get hired here, I hope he is prescient enough to understand where his weak spots could be and hire effective people to combat those weaknesses. Hopefully, hire great recruiters (and let Gruden be the closer), good developers of talent, and a support staff that understand and help Gruden stay with the framework of NCAA guidelines.

We shall see. Go Vols, Beat Vandy! Mr. Gruden, please come to the Hill, or let us know quickly if you decide not to come here.

If I recall correctly, flew in there one time on a connection from Jackson.

It was a tiny plane, back seats were filled up with mail and packages, so I had to sit up front in the copilot seat.

It was late at night and we came in to land, and the pilot gunned it, pulled up and went around.

I asked him what was wrong. He said nothing, I always buzz the runway once at night to run off the deer.
