Hopefully your right and Schiano and Taggart just need a raise to, scaring me into thinking we need to jump on one of our top choices fast before they are realityJust my opinion but I think we are hearing all this Mullins talk ramp up now because we are so close to naming a coach . Cant get a bump and or extension from MSU if we name our coach before he has a chance to pump him up . If I was MSU Id call his bluff and see what happens lol .
Today, I walked into my bank here in Charlottesville, VA, wearing a Vols hoodie. One of the employees piped up and asked, "Do you REALLY think y'all are gonna get Gruden?"
Poor feller never saw it coming; I unleashed with a geyser of verbal frustration that made his eyes go crossed. It was as if I blacked out and let loose with every word that has been posted here over the past two weeks. When I spiraled down out of my Big Orange fit, I looked at the clock and noticed I had been talking for an HOUR!!!
Soon... (or I won't be able to show my face around this town).
I don't want Mullen, but to play devil's advocate his record at State means very little. James Franklin, who I easily consider a top-10 coach, had an SEC record of 11-14 with a record of 1-9 against ranked opponents. I will argue against Mullen until I'm blue in the face, but this should not be the argument we use.
Saying that, I really with these Mullenites would GTFO.
I doubt it they have a game this week. If Gruden is not coming that is not a bad plan b. He is better than our last few hires but I legitimately believe no one really knows what is going on so there are wild changes in candidates
This may have already been covered but I heard on the radio that boosters are saying that gruden is a done deal but it wont be anounced until after the sec championship. Has anyone heard this and if true why on God's green earth would we wait that long. That is utter stupidity in my mind.
Even worse than Mullen, Simonton said Greg Schiano's name is back in play due to ties between the school and a certain agent. He was down the list but he's back on the list.
No, not really. No secret revelations. Not a news-flash - but he believes...soon.
I think all the information that can be out is already out. He appreciated the combined deductive work, and wanted to say so.
