Better question isn't if. It is when? Are you in the camp that we line up for a press conference tomorrow.

Or are you in the camp that it happens on Sunday (maybe Monday)?

Sorry, I just can't take Will West's reporting on Gruden seriously.

Jimmy Hyams has assured us consistently on behalf of WNML that all talk of Gruden to UT is bullspit. West is trolling us.

He is still saying he doesn't believe it. He is just saying boosters are putting that out there.

I just cannot understand why as a fan base we cannot disagree without being so damn disagreeable and disrespectful of those with different opinions. I guess it is what it is but is disheartening.

Folks are frustrated. Don't take it personally, TN is a sensitive topic for many of us.

Wonder if this is how the negotiations went??

This entire timeline does not make sense if you don't have a guy like Jon Gruden.

Why keep Butch after the Georgia game?
Why keep him after Alabama and Kentucky?

Why hasn't Gruden publicly address not wanting the position?

This fanbase deserves so much more than what it is getting, from Kiffin to Dooley to Butch. Now, another unproven coach who will be gone in 3-4 years because we're tired of being an 8-4 team and never winning the East.

All signs point to Gruden and if not this administration has some explaining to do if we find ourselves with Butch 2.0.

There is something like a chicken and egg problem here. If others were more respectful of the intentions of this thread, then there wouldn't be so much disagreement.

None. Just putting the pieces together like so many others. I see something that looks pretty obvious, and have to comment.

This was largely spurred on by lots of comments yesterday regarding the Beaver, et al. being a troll. I obviously don't believe he is trolling.

If anything, I'm just another piece of their puzzle (an uninvolved participant who helps their mission). However, I don't believe anyone like me was contemplated at the outset. They don't need me (or anyone like me), and if such a service was required, another participant would have intervened.

And they have. When we've gone down the wrong path they've sent one in to set us straight.

For example, the day after the meeting at BlackBerry farm, one of them simply said, "tetelestai." Several of our preachers let us know that this means, "it is done." We went down that road for a while until stogievol chimed in for his first post (I believe) explaining the full definition to include "the debt has been paid."

I haven't seen many X's and O's questions. Hope I'm not committing some serious transgression.....

Will Gruden use a spread/shotgun type offense or a more old fashion pro style look?

I miss those fullback/linebacker hits.

Basilio was talking to a guy in Chattanooga that I think was a journalist. He saying that he heard John Harbaugh has an interest in Tennessee and thinks Currie met him in Washington last week. Didn’t catch all of interview and will have to listen to podcast on his 1hr near the end. What if Gruden is a smokescreen to John Harbaugh?

Just getting out ahead of this tweet before some dope posts it here:

This tweet tags an IT professional named Dan Mullen and the screenshot is from a very poor-edited Wikipedia page for Dan Mullen. Nothing to see here.
