Hadn't thought about Mosheim in years . Hitch hiked through there many many moons ago when I was just out of high school (In the early 70's). There was a little diner on the left side of the main road coming toward Knoxville that had 39 cent egg sandwiches and nickle cokes. It was on a curve, I feasted on a couple of bucks. Thanks Mosheim.

I have a love/hate relationship for TN fans....united we are incredible but divided it gets really ugly. It's obvious Beav wants what we all do. The obvious reason we are in this thread unable to focus on work, home life and everything else at times. People say "soon" and "trust the process" but TN fans as a whole have always been about wanting it yesterday and in order for us to get what we want, it will take time. Thank you Beav for your insight. Same to AV and the others who frequent these boards...I appreciate all yall do for VN! GO VOLS!

This is the truth. However, over the last decade our loyal fan base has shown up 100,000 strong to almost every home game and purchased a lot of merchandise. Our administration has taken the fan base for granite and thinks that whoever they trot out we will continue to support. Deep down every true vol fan who says if we don’t get gruden then I’m done doesn’t actually mean that. Our admin knows that. Thankfully,it appears this time around we have been heard.

THE most powerful voice, ultimately. Without fans, there are no sports. No sports that make money anyway. MIT is here to disrobe the emperor.

This basicly validates that all this has been as described..transparent to us the fans, as much as possible. Finally the voices of Vol Nation can be heard outside of Neyland.

Hey Beaver, do you have any other input on the timeline of all of this stuff as to when Gruden (or anyone else) might be announced?

Thanks for livening up these threads. Troll or not, you're a ton of fun. This kind of stuff is what makes coaching searches so fun around these parts.

I wouldn't bet on that. I know for me, personally, I live far enough away that I have to fly to games. I usually try to make at least one per year, but skipped this year because of Butch. And, won't be making the trip with any regularity if Coach Google is hired. It just isn't worth the time investment the way things currently stand.

I was joking...a couple of threads ago a guy from Atlanta posted a very serious post on how his sister in Knoxville owned a upscale escort service and would deliver perks to coaching staff in exchange for upscale seats for UT games.
It was so funny!!!
